I've been thinking of the strength and weaknesses of having a Pizza Hut model of small, associated manufacturing shops.
Pros
- Fast and agile
- Many items have small fixes
- Builds community
- Resilience, shops in the next town over can help with overflow.
- Hub for teaching
Cons
- Larger items are impractical
- Some items are impossible/difficult to fix.
- Cheap + Crap is often more tempting than Inexpensive + Good
Obviously these are just high-level items, but that's a rough draft overview of items.
