More library thoughts.

General vision.

What I'm envisioning: A hallway of decent length, with some tables down the center aisle. Lots of wood, lamps with those green shades on top of the tables. Along the hall, arched openings, with shelves through them. Each section corresponds to a general topic. Similar to Dewey, if not that. DDS is a bit wonky, giving precedent to certain categories, but I'm not sure if the categories are an issue. No matter, I'll probably make up the categories as I want. It's my library.

Books

Ideally, I'd like many, many books there. There are plenty of free sources of legal books to fill a library. I would love for every book to be an actual book that I can then pull off the shelf and read. I'm not so sure about the bottom shelves though. Bending down is a pain in VR. Maybe shelves that start higher, and have some decoration on the bottom? I'm not entirely sure yet.

Butler

For times where I don't have a book, or don't feel like searching through the stacks, I'd like a librarian cat to help me find what I'm looking for. This agent should be able to locate any material I need, and have the ability to download and turn it into a VR enabled book.

Closing

I think this is a manageable project. Will stretch my skills (especially through 3D modeling), but still limited enough in scope that I should be able to complete it.
